IN THIS WEEK'S COURT OF NERDS NEWS:
Rumors about concerning the quality of the new Justice League movie. Is Ben Affleck having second thoughts about his solo Batfleck film?
ALL-NEW Guardians of the Galaxy, minus Bendis. This time, we get more Baby Groot and a pacifist Drax. But does it work?
CONSTANTINE is coming back! In a way. The brand new animated series debuts on CW Seed.
You may have noticed at this past year's E3 and also at PSX, neither the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, nor Kingdom Hearts 3 were shown. A little surprising for fans, considering both titles were announced at PSX 2015. So why the silence? Turns out, they may not be ready for a 2017 release.

Droo, Emily, Jon, and Stacey break down whether quality, quantity, or some deformed hybrid thereof determines whether a show is worth watching.
Also, yes, one of us needs a trapper keeper day planner to keep up with all of our nerdy shows (hint: it's Emily).

Court of Nerds NEWS ROUNDUP: Disney, DC TV, Civil War 2, and Warhammer 40K
Wednesday Jan 04, 2017
Wednesday Jan 04, 2017
It turns out, Civil War II was not particularly popular with comics retailers (suprise, suprise). However, the new Jennifer Walters Hulk looks promising.
Carrie Fisher's death, heartbreaking as it was, could mean financial gain for Disney. According to Insurance Insider, the entertainment giant may have taken out an insurance policy on her, in the event that she would be unable to complete her 3-movie contract, to the tune of $50 Million.
DC TV is going to get its first comedy. "Powerless," starring Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk and Ron Funches, centeres around the people who work for Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, as they deal with collateral damage done by the DC Universes many heroes and villains. Keep an eye out for it in February!
Also this week, we talk the Best and Worst in Video Games for 2016.

That's So Braven #1: Someone got into the Christmas booze/CoN '16 wrap
Wednesday Dec 28, 2016
Wednesday Dec 28, 2016
Welcome to the first episode of That's So Braven. Oh my God, we gave Ben his own spinoff.
No regular show this week, so Ben wraps up the year that was 2016 for the Court of Nerds (HINT, it was a big one), some thoughts on Carrie Fisher's passing and the year in the world of professional wrestling. Oh yeah, we also encouraged Ben to have a couple of drinks before this one. He had some red wine ... guy turned 28 three days ago but he already acts 60.

Tuesday Dec 20, 2016
Tuesday Dec 20, 2016
Everyone's sick. Or vacationing. Or moving. So West Coast Avenger Gregg does his damnedest to keep this ship afloat.
This week, we discuss the new David/Bagley Spiderman, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (BECAUSE WE HAVE TO OH MY GOD), the shittyness of CryTek's business practices, Star Wars Armada, and then Ben goes and bungles Vincent D'Onofrio's name (it's pronounced "dih-NOH-free-oh," Jesus Christ).

Court of Nerds Episode 89: REBOOT!
Wednesday Dec 14, 2016
Wednesday Dec 14, 2016
It's time for ANOTHER REBOOT!
No, unfortunately, not the super freaking awesome Nickelodeon show about life inside a computer.
Spiderman: Homecoming may successfully reboot everyone's favorite wallcrawler... so we thought... what other movies deserve a quality reboot?
(For the record, if they decided to bring back the city of Mainframe, we'd be totally okay with that, too)
