What a treat! We caught up with Greg Kasavin, writer for Supergiant Games about their upcoming game, "Pyre!"

When last we spoke to Supergiant last year and they hinted at the possibility that they were working on a new game. And now that we've seen a taste, we want more!

Court of Nerds Episode 62: Meat and Taters (the Tom King interview!)

Ahhhh, allergens are putrifying the air we breathe, and it's time to take into account THIS WEEK ON THE COURT OF NERDS: 

First things first, we had to address New York Comic Con's well-intentioned, but EXTREMELY ostracizing, new Fan Cred ticket sales. 

Crazy ol' uncle Benzo takes the mic to discuss movie news, where Harley Quinn is targetted to get her own solo movie (but with the Birds of Prey) and we get more information on Shane Black's comments regarding Iron Man 3's choice of villains. 

Next up is Grant talking books, highlighting DC's highly-anticipated Future Quest book by Doc Shaner, Jordie Bellaire, and Jeff Parker, as well as giving Valiant's books their due.  

Emily brings cookies and gaming news, touching on the impending release of Blizzard's Overwatch and on the crazy-awesome-sounding new Ghostbusters game!

Jon ties things up in a nice pretty package by going over whatever the hell Fox is doing with their programming (amongst other cancellations), and HOLY SHIT 'PREACHER' DEBUTS SOON!

Joining us this week is the newest captain of DC's flagship title, Tom King! We BS with Tom about taking over Batman, Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and what the heck is up with DC's fictional cities.

Court of Nerds MiniCast: Pokemon Sun and Moon!

It's the #2 bestselling video game franchise in the world. And now, there's more Pokemon on the way! Yay!

The new games are called Pokemon Sun and Moon, and they're set to be released November 18th, 2016.

Here's what we know so far:

• The new region is called "Alola" and it looks to be Hawaiian themed.
• There are new legendaries, though we don't know what their types or names are.
• The three new starters are: Rowlet (Grass/Flying), Litten (Fire), and Popplio (Water)
• It's unclear as to whether there will be a similar fashion element to the game.
• The game will be Pokemon Bank and WonderTrade compatible (at least, it SHOULD be).

The Court Of Nerds Episode 60: LIVE from Free Comic Book Day at Vault of Midnight

Well, we did a LIVE show you guys! Here it is, from in front of Vault of Midnight for Free Comic Book Day. We're joined by (cosplay) Wonder Woman and Steven Strange, Greatlyn from Vault of Midnight and King of the City Andy Budnick. It's really ADHD but we had a lot of fun.

A GIANT THANK YOU to Grand Rapids Comic Con, JAFAX, Celebration Cinema and Vault of Midnight for providing trivia prizes for folks all day. THE BIGGEST THANK YOU to Vault of Midnight in GR for making us a part of this and making us feel like a part of the Vault family. Our heartparts are filled with lovefeels for you guys.

Jon does many things. He is a renaissance man. First, he does games - Did you know you can waste even more money on Call of Duty games? You totally can!; On the other hand, new Uncharted extras? At a decent price? TAKE THIS MONEY

Emily is also a lady of many talents, and this week she focuses on books - DC's Super Hero Girls just keeps looking better and better with every new decision; The Wonder Woman series post-Rebirth just looks incredible. HERE SOME PREVIEWS!; Captain America and Jim Steranko. Need we say more? 

Gregg has a plethora of skills, or as the 90's kids say, "skillz." Here's his TV stuff - Good grief, what's a girl gotta do to get some Karl Urban 'Dredd' on the small screen?!; 'Game of Thrones' just recently returned for HBO, which is an absolutely FANTASTIC time to have streaming issues! 

'Member how Jon does things? He finishes with movies! - I mean, kudos to Zack Snyder for being open with his comic interests....but geez, man! Try something without sex or violence; Captain America: Civil War has shattered all sorts of Fandango records, and with good reason. 

We're also joined by our home girl Kaitlin "the Greatlyn" from our local Vault of Midnight shoppe, which just so happens to be hosting Free Comic Book day featuring a bunch of dorks who write about geek stuff! 

And lastly and bestly, we were joined by a stunningly talented local cosplayer, Kitty Fantastico! We get the inside jam on construction, cons, and bearded cosplays for Droo that aren't Homeless Santa or Lazy Hobbit.
